Nick and Rachael Hilliard met and trained at the British School of Osteopathy in London (now called the University College of Osteopathy). The training for an osteopath is 4 years - this is full time, and covers detailed anatomy, physiology and clinical medicine, as well as the highly specialised manual skills osteopaths are known for.
Nick is from Cornwall originally, and we started our osteopathic clinic in Camborne in 1990 - working from a room in our home at first, then as the practice grew (and our three children came along!) from premises above a dental surgery, and finally in 2001 moving to our own building with ground floor rooms and dedicated parking spaces - The Camborne Back Clinic - enabling us to offer the best possible professional care for your back pain and other injuries.
Nick and Rachael are both fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council, ensuring maximum safety of treatment and the highest professional and ethical standards. They also are members of the Institute of Osteopathy and the British Medical Acupuncture Society, and Rachael is a fully qualified Pilates Instructor.
Caroline Law joined the clinic in August 2018 and is proving to be popular with patients and a much valued member of the team. She also trained at the UCO and has been working at a busy practice in London until recently moving to Cornwall. Caroline treats all ages and a range of injuries and particularly enjoys working with expectant and new mums.
